The Gravenstein school district welcomes qualified interdistrict transfer students who will benefit from our award-winning schools.

If your district of residence (home district) denies your request to transfer to the Gravenstein school district, you have the right to appeal to the Sonoma County Board of Education. Among other factors, the County Board may consider the following in reaching its decision:
• When there is valid interest in a particular educational program not offered in the district of residence; and/or
• To provide a change in school environment for reasons of personal and social adjustment.

Please note that the Gravenstein Union School District is not a "District of Choice" as referenced in the County's policy.
